GCC condemns Israel’s detention of Lebanese aid vessel

Riyadh, February 06 (QNA) – The GCC has condemned the Israeli interception of the Ekhwan (brotherhood) Lebanese aid vessel and termed it an inhumane act against the suffering people of the Gaza Strip. The GCC Secretariat general said in a press release issued here last night that the Israeli attack on the vessel and the inhumane treatment of its crew and personnel aboard reflected the unjust policies by Israel and the incident itself should be considered an act of piracy. The GCC called on the international community to take the proper procedures against such Israeli crimes, said the statement. (Qna)
